Fusing classic horology and modern technology, OMEGA showcases its ceramic mastery with the Seamaster Planet Ocean "Deep Black." This 45.5 mm watch combines a GMT model and a diving watch, featuring a monobloc black ceramic casebody, a unidirectional bezel, and an Arabic numeral-decorated dial—all designed to evoke the dark depths of the 300 m ocean.
The latest GMT ring is affixed to the dial, and the diving scale and OMEGA logo on the crown have been enhanced by Liquidmetal™. Hands are crafted from 18ct white gold and finished with white Super-LumiNova. To further enhance the watch, OMEGA has created a patented ceramic Naiad Lock which allows a secure, orientated screw-in caseback and perfectly aligns the engraved wording.
The screw-in case-back features an alveol pattern, and it comes with a black rubber strap with contrast stitching and an anti-bacterial lining. Boasting water-resistance up to 60 bar, this Planet Ocean “Deep Black” is powered by the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8906, which has been certified by METAS after passing eight tough tests.
