Made in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), OMEGA's Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer embodies its namesake. Featuring a grade 2 titanium case, multifunctional quartz movement, and 45 mm chronograph, it can track times and time zones on both Earth and Mars. An MTC function records Mars' sol date and time at its prime meridian, noting the planet's 2.7% longer day. Additionally, the timepiece boasts a solar compass for pinpointing true north on Earth and Mars.

Its black dial provides a contrast to the multiple analog and digital readings, while Earth and Mars symbols clarify which functions are in use. An oxalic anodized aluminium bezel ring in red hematite surrounds the dial, resembling the color of Mars' dust. The seconds hand is gradient-dyed from black to red hematite. The caseback is embossed with the OMEGA Speedmaster wording and Seahorse logo, surrounded by the words SPEEDMASTER X-33 MARSTIMER, ESA TESTED AND QUALIFIED. The watch is powered by OMEGA's 5622 Calibre.

The X-33 Marstimer includes a grade 2 and 5 titanium bracelet, as well as a dedicated NATO strap. Both of these components come neatly packaged in the special watch roll, which boasts a reproduction of Hebes Chasma, a canyon located on Mars, lining its inner surface.
